Our House Chronicle was originally published in 1941. This new publication is an accurate retype of the stories in that first publication. Some genealogical information was updated based on newer research. Numerous footnotes are added to supplement the information presented or to provide background details.
The book starts with a brief history of the State of Maine. It follows the arrival of our ancestors including the Erskine (1719), Joyce, Cottrill, Kavanagh (1781), Madigan (1803) and Rafter (1825) families. The book follows their descendants as the families grew to spread across the country.
