The names Rowbal and Ord seem to me to go together. Ord, Nebraska is where my mom, Dorothy Rowbal, grew up and anytime she talked about home, it was there. I think she would have been happy spending her entire life there. She loved the town, but most importantly her family.
Learning about the Rowbal family provides us a glimpse of family life in the heartland of America during the first half of the twentieth century.
The stories shared here reveal that this family did not live in the lap of luxury, in fact they experienced many hardships. Money was scarce. Yet they lived happy productive lives, and parented fine families. This family truly loved and cared for each other.
