There are two reasons IÕve dedicated this issue to CRIMSON PLAGUE. One, I wanted to do this issue as a birthday present to George (although the issue is coming out a little later than planned). What better present to George than something that is close to GeorgeÕs heart? I hope you like it, George. Secondly, although the series sadly was never completed, IÕm hoping this issue will keep the flame alive. Maybe someday CRIMSON PLAGUE will be completed in some form or another. I never got the impression in any of the conversations with George that there is no hope for CRIMSON PLAGUE ever being completed.
