The most elaborate of these Islamic patterns are the Muqarnas; a clustering of small pointed niches, used in tiers projecting over those below, usually constructed of corbelled brick, stone, stucco, or wood. The purpose of this book is to explore the geometrical relationships of the underlying Muqarnas construct through the use of computational transformation.
