Thesis Research 2012-2013/. My research focuses in experimenting the tectonic union and interaction between membrane surfaces with dynamic mechanical architecture. My investigation will emphasize how these diametrically opposed entities can be combined to create a new architecture that can adapt to exterior stimuli. Recognizing that this two worlds belong to different orders of tectonics, and their fusion in large architectural application has mainly been limited to membrane cladding on rigid structures I feel that there is a good opportunity to sample the profession and other fields of expertise to seek an answer that could address how to resolve the behavioral synthesis of the two.
