The Petition to the Honorable Ministry was submitted for the purpose of to request that the Bureau of Indian Standards allow and encourage Indian Standards to be more widely disseminated and promulgated so that the public safety may be protected, the youth may be better educated, the professions may be practiced, and trade may be promoted in India and abroad.
