Hello. My name is Phil Parker, and I am a railway modeller.
For many years IÕve built and exhibited layouts such as Melbridge Dock, The Hellingly Hospital Railway and Flockburgh. You might also have seen my writing in Hornby Magazine and many others.
This book contains a few of the articles IÕve written for society magazines and newsletters. As well as some helpful words IÕll tell you what itÕs like to be inside an exhibition barrier unexpectedly having to show others how to build a loco. Or what happens when you become a piece of art. And just to show you that we donÕt always get it right, how about the layout that wasnÕt so successful or my first scratchbuilt wagon.
