These stories are fond memories of growing up in the 1930s with my beloved brother, Charles Jefferson during the Great Depression. I have told these stories to my five grandchildren as they have grown and soon two great grandchildren will hear ÒGammerÕs storiesÓ when they reach the age for bedtime stories.
