This is the story of Red Shirt People struggling 100 years after the civil war that freed them. It shows the interactions among Red Shirts, Businesses, and the community. It is an historic view of how America and all its greatness worked through the change. ÒContent of Character over Color of Skin,Ó rings through the issues of the time.
Americans feel a sense of pride in the ways we handle problems. Many good people choose to use a retro-reflective-morality to answer the problems involving slavery. With this in mind they want to Òmake it right.Ó Our Government and the businesses have made great strides to provide a chance for all of us to compete.
The play shows a setting for a growing enterprise. It shows the challenges of the day. Then as if things were not hard enough the Red Shirts demonstrate and riot for another step in their quest for equal rights. The enterprise had to adjust to meet the new demands that the government had made into law.
This play is suitable for High School Students.
