The following research questions if new and innovative temporary landscapes could serve as a short-term, sanctioned approach to improving streetscape qualities and offering flexible programming for the Aggieville Business District. First, relevance for temporality in urban restoration was provided. Next, necessary criteria involved in the design-build process for implementing a temporary landscape were explored. Finally, programmatic options and customizable design features that express flexibility and customization associated with temporary landscapes were developed.
