The book contains stories of the author's maternal grandmother, Gunde Marie Kragh-Rasmussen-Kragh, a second cousin to the Danish Royal family. Gunde remained uncommonly silent about her childhood, youth, and first marriage. This book attempts to shed some light into the little known places and events of her life.
