Orin Langelle, a photojournalist and documentary photographer since 1972, has photographed on six continents. He been published in hundreds of print and online publications, books and book-covers. He has exhibited in venues in the U.S., Poland, Denmark, Indonesia, Mexico and Paraguay.
Langelle co-founded Global Justice Ecology Project in 2003. He continues his affiliation today as a consultant and photographer. He previously served as Media Coordinator for Global Forest Coalition. Langelle enjoys photographing for the non-profit sector which allows him to photograph more freely than the top down corporate media sector. He lives in Cattaraugus County, NY in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains with his life partner, Anne Petermann. They have two cats.
