Prayers for Lizzie was originally a blog at a website of the same name. Lizzie had been diagnosed as terminally-ill in July of 2010 and given, by her oncologist, six months to live. We had both faced terminal diagnoses for her before, but this time seemed different.
Prayers for Lizzie was begun in July, 2010, for the same reason as Letters for Lizzie: to develop a prayer network for Lizzie and to communicate with so many people who knew, loved,and cared about her.
