For a number of years I have been a second mom to music students at Central College in my hometown of Pella, Iowa. Often times they or their parents would want a copy of a recipe for something that I had made for them on one of our Sunday evening dinners. So I started a collection of every recipe that I ever made for them, put it in a three-ring binder, and gave it to them as a gift when they graduated college. As there became more and more recipes, it seemed like a good idea to compile them, plus more of my personal family recipes, into one book. Where did the title come from? Most of the recipes I make start by preheating your oven to 350¡ F. This is the result of lots of research and lots of typing on my part. I hope you enjoy it!
