This book is a product of our investigation into dichotomies in our city. The 7th grade team at High Tech Media Arts set out on a 23-mile trek through San Diego from Border Filed State Park to Juan Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma. Along the way, we observed and documented dichotomies that we saw in our city. At first, we saw water vs. land and dry vs. wet as dichotomies, but upon our deeper learning we were able to see injustice and inequity like Entrapment vs. Freedom , Access vs. No Access, Peace vs. Chaos . In this 7th graders Kimberly, Kevin and Victor investigate problems in San Diego through the lens of their dichotomies.
