The Second Digital Naturalism Conference ran for all 31 days of August 2019 in the town of Gamboa, Panama. It sought to bring together interaction designers, artists, field biologists, and anyone interesting in finding new ways to explore the natural world.
Presented here is a collection of projects, artworks, technical designs, experiments, collaborations, and performances by participants of this free-form, experimental conference.
Most imagery created and collected by the Dinacon 2 Documentary crew (Ananda Gabo, Jorge Medina, JosŽ Alejandro Riascos Ram’rez, and Nate Walsh), Andy Quitmeyer and the participants themselves. Also included is documentation of the animals and areas in which we lived and worked in gorgeous, full-color, professional photography.
