Almost everyone has heard of RapunzelÑitÕs a classic fairytale about a ridiculously long-haired girl, an evil witch has locked away in a tower, who lets a handsome prince climb up her hair to visit her against the witchÕs wishes. That may sound dramatic, but in this adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairytale, comedy prevails. All the action is started by a pregnant womanÕs craving for a rare vegetable that drives her husband to try to steal from the evil witchÕs garden. But is she an evil witch or just misunderstood? WouldnÕt it hurt to have people climb up your hair? And whatÕs up with that hobgoblin obsessed with babies? While this adaptation has off-the-wall, comedic fun with the classic fairytale, it manages to stay true the Brothers Grimm story.
