Mayor Sir Thomas Lyndon has hired a Master of Revels to stoke the entertainment, so the town is in a festive mood.
But what of the fugitive Spanish Princess who arrives with the Spanish Ambassador and his entourage in hot pursuit? Will she receive sanctuary from the Queen or be taken back to reluctantly marry the King? Will she receive refuge from Captain Digby and his pirate crew, or will he send her packing after his recent life-changing experience with New World women? And, will the Princess force the Ambassador to stick a rock up his nose?
