This book is entitled Relational Child and Youth Care in Action. The intent is to showcase aspects of relational practice in a variety of settings and through multiple lenses. It is not an attempt to be comprehensive or a complete representation of relational practice. Rather, it is a forum to advance the ideas of people caring, connecting, being more present, inclusive, and loving in an imperfect world. Today, more than ever, child and youth care practitioners are needed to support young people and families as they navigate the challenges and complexities in their lives.
