This play is a period piece that takes place in the mid 1960's in America and in the killing fields of Vietnam. The story concerns itself with a young black boy from the south who faces discrimination then finds himself in the killing felds of Vietnam like many of the young Black men of that day. It is a story of fighting, death and redemption that is set to acapello music. In fact it is a musical, of sorts. Return To Home Base has an important message for all people, irregardless of their age, race or culture. I hope that you will take the time to read it. Return To Homebase is in search of a premiere.
