Combining food and craft, story, ritual, and self reflection, Reverent Rhythm offers a mishmash of old and new practices to celebrate and better understand the turning of the seasons through the lens of animism and nature-based pagan spirituality.
This book is written for those of you who wish to create and maintain traditions that will foster a life filled with purpose, love, and deep connection to one another, the natural world, and your place within it. The hope is that through the process of establishing a rhythm that feels meaningful and true, you will feel your place in this world as well as the mysterious beyond, and when you swim in the sea, walk in the woods, or look up at the stars, you will be able to say to yourself, ÒYes, I am part of all of this. I belong here.Ó And you do. Blessed Be.
*The dates for each sabbat are listed in the beginning of the book, first for the Northern Hemisphere, followed by the dates for the Southern Hemisphere. The Northern Hemisphere dates are correct, but I am very sorry to say there is a typo for two of the Southern Hemisphere dates: the dates listed for Imbolc and Lughnasadh are reversed. The correct dates in the Southern Hemisphere are Imbolc Aug 1 and Lughnasadh Feb 1. I send sincere apologies for this confusing mistake!
