Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf (BDMD) was selected by the River Ridge Development Authority (RRDA) to help conceptualize and plan the development of 600 acres of land surrounding the primary entrance into the River Ridge Commerce Center; a 6,000 acre mixed-use office and industrial park on a former Army ammunition plant in southern Indiana. As part of this process, BDMD conducted multiple stakeholder meetings and design charrettes to help inform the final land-use master plan. This plan focuses on increasing economic development and site sustainability, while providing a high quality of life. It will include the creation of a walkable Òtown center,Ó sustainable site infrastructure, a corporate campus, streetscape design guidelines, and district-based plans for multiple land-use areas. In addition, BDMD was tasked with developing an architectural concept for the first office building to be located in the new gateway area, which will be the future home and headquarters of the RRDA.
