Growing up in the 30s, Aunt Joyce experienced difficult times. Her parents, my grandparents, worked hard to make ends meet. They owned a grocery store as well as a barber shop. Grandma made and sold pies on the side to off set expenses. Aunt Joyce tells about her life growing up and the wonderful memories she has a young girl, a nursing student and then as a wife and mother.
