Book of the full length musical:
Chris is bright, charming, and poster boy of law firm Wee Bill & Soo LLC, which is run by his father. He could not be more different than feisty yet sentimental Penny, who runs the small florist shop sandwiched between two buildings owned by the firm. Their paths cross when Chris' father is bent on acquiring Penny's shop, at all cost. Throw a fellow lawyer love interest and unscrupulous business partner into the fray, and the result is a story of love, intrigue, betrayal and coming-of-age. A full-length musical that is funny, smart and tender, yet sincere, honest (and very local) in its depiction of the dreams, loves and aspirations of young professionals in Singapore.
Originally written and produced for the annual charity fundraising by the graduating cohort of the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, roses & hello has captured the hearts of those who have come into contact with the show.
