1972 to 1982
When we got married in 1971, Kathy had been honing her writing skills doing fashion copy for Town and Country. I had photographed four articles for National Geographic. I suggested we could get paid for our honeymoon by teaming up to do an article for a new magazine called SAIL. Neither of us knew how far we would go with this partnership.
Now the paper in the magazines stored on our bookshelves is getting fragile and yellowing around the edges. Nobody reads issues that are 40 or 50 years old, but they do tell a story I would like to preserve, so here they all are, scanned from the original and assembled in order.
