This book is largely a body of work that is previously unappreciated by me. The photographs presented include sand designs in the dry arroyos, the appearance of barbed wire in unusual settings, and the sands associated with wood at the White Sands National Monument. It represents a significant departure from photo books that the author has formerly published.
