There are very few books about Sanford, ME history written for a young audience. A third grade class at Margaret Chase Smith School decided to solve this problem. They interviewed local seniors at the Mayflower Place Assisted Living to record Sanford history as told by its older citizens and write narratives of these seniors' lives.
