In 2016, my wife ans I spent time in Northumberland and the Borderlands of Scotland. Traveling the narrow roads, we found bucolic landscapes,the eternal River Tweed, the blustery estuary of Berwick-Upon-Tweed, wonderful bridges, fields, hills and the fantastic homes of Sir Walter Scott Abbotsford and Paxton House. The photos we took capture only a fraction of this magnificent part of the United Kingdom.
