Henry comes across a book that gives powers to those who read it. However, the power of each chapter is given only to a different reader. Henry, along with his friends, Sheila and Fran, put together a group of 13 to read the thirteen chapters of the book. They now face a series of dangerous adventures. This is the first book of the series.
