I sat by my window watching my mother tending to our garden in the small patch of yard by our house. Our Section is not entitled to have large yards. But we make do with what we have, we never run or go outside a lot. I keep staring, watching her hand caressing each flower with extreme care. I never was very gentle, I was careless. Always breaking things and trying my best to be gentle but never succeeding.
