The works presented are selected ceramic ships and ship-related tableaux in the last known public and private collections, as well as similar uncollected and in-process works housed at my studio in Oakland, CA and/or at Anglim/Trimble Gallery, San Francisco, CA. The ship as a metaphor of change, transit and process, from the late 1960's to the present, has been an important image in an expanded ceramic context for experimentation and visualization of geologic, systemic and aesthetic ideas.
