"Seminole Mascot" is on the Native American mascot controversy.
In that controversy, FSU's fans, students and alumni, are all deemed Òracist.Ó
And at least one activist has called the Seminole Òhang around the fort Indians,Ó because they let FSU use their name.
And so some activists put this controversy in terms of Ògood against evil.Ó The evil - of course - is the unfeeling, all-encompassing ÒWhite Oppressor.Ó
But the truth seems a bit more complex, as explored in the 27 chapters of this book.
Each chapter is no more than three pages long, including notes, and is modeled after a newspaper-style column.
These 27 columns explore topics including the conflict between cherished First Amendment freedoms. For example, here free speech is pitted against the right of a people to have their "sacred images" treated with respect.
