Students in the Senior Design Projects course created individual thesis projects synthesizing what they learned throughout their tenure in the Design Program at the University of San Francisco. Through idea development, research, writing, presentation, and production, students placed their projects into specific critical, social, political, cultural, and conceptual contexts. Students were challenged to understand and communicate how their chosen thesis projects related to specific audiences and cultural practices via the framework of the academic institution, the art and design industry, and popular culture.
The final outcomes were presented in a public exhibition, titled WhatÕs Next, at SOMArts Gallery in San Francisco, California.
