The book ÔSetts or Suits of Lessons for the Harpsicord or SpinnetÕ is a collection of six suites (called lessons in England during the period) of original baroque keyboard music written in the post restoration English style of the generation following Henry Purcell including composers such as William Croft, John Welden and Thomas Roseingrave. Many of the traditional movements such as Allmands, Minuets, Grounds and Jiggs are to be found in this collection along with Preludes and other dances. Originally completed in 2008 this book has been retypeset and edited for its present publication.
