At its heart, Seven Stories is a novel about the search for truth. A group of seven animals meet under a sacred tree called Unbanyokatulinys, and become fast friends. As they grow older, their conversations with each other become philosophical and confused. They are soon left wondering what truth even is. The seven friends decide to leave each other and the forest of their birth to depart on a journey to find it, promising to return at the appointed time to tell their story and their truth to their friends.
