Sharing the Native American Flute is designed as a basic overview for how to begin the Native American Flute with the group class, workshop, or flute circle in mind.
With 28 pieces written as solos, duets, or rounds and multi- level approach, every member can participate in a group ensemble setting.
The first section covers a tutorial for those first coming to the flute. After every piece, there are suggestions for intermediate and advanced players to draw from.
While this book does focus on written music (in tablature or fingers only), there are many creative exercises for flutists to explore the skills on improvisation and song writing that are so important for Native American Flute.
While this is designed for a group, every song can be played as a solo as well.
