In 2002, I participated in a consequential hybrid program. This hybrid learning experience was consequential because it integrated core subjects, reading and math, with entrepreneurship development for elementary school students. At the time, I felt this was important for high risk student population especially those students in poverty-stricken, public schools with traditional low test scores.
Fast forward 20 years later and a pandemic, I still have the same beliefs and created TIMEOUT LEARN INC. to address the critical need for strategy-based, entrepreneurship learning in K-12 schools. SIMPLE, REAL, and RELEVANT: TIMEOUT LEARN INC. IN 365 DAYS provides students (ages 6-18), parents, and teachers with opportunities that integrate discovery and play with financial literacy, entrepreneur learning methods, and common core subjects.
