SINGER ISLAND & ERNEST HEMINGWAY is a sprawling memoir of four generations of No Sweat's family living on Singer Island during the summers. The book covers six subjects which continuously intertwine to form a complex story the likes of which cannot be found in any other book. The main setting for the work takes place in the old Colonnades Beach Hotel where No Sweat came to know John D. MacArthur. Besides MacArthur, No Sweat relays many stories involving Rose and Ted Kennedy, Burt Reynolds, Arlo Guthrie, Francis Ford Coppola and Jacques Piccard.
