A collection of diverse poems of Colorado poet Karen E. Peace. The poems have been written over 3 decades, and range in style from the sublime to the intentionally ridiculous -- for example, the sonnet about a clogged toilet. On the serious side, the poems address existential struggles with statistics, the barbaric practice of child brides, and heartbreaking losses that haunt.
It is my hope that in this book -- part confessional, part philosophical, and part sheer silliness -- you might find something of value -- or at least a couple of laughs amid the tears.
