Jane Whittaker has inherited a minor-league baseball team from her late husband. Gradually, she learns the secrets he kept from her for many years, including who he sold stock in the team to, and what kind of shenanigans he pulled that she must now put up with, as her beloved stadium is about to be lost to one of her deceased husband's "business" deals.
