UK SMART Recovery helps people recover from addictive behaviour and lead meaningful and satisfying lives. We run a network of peer led mutual support meetings, provide on-line support and also partner with care professionals. Our approach is secular and science based; using motivational, behavioural and cognitive methods.
This is the 3rd edition of the UK SMART Recovery Handbook, edited specifically for the UK. It will be useful to meeting participants who want a stronger understanding of the ideas and tools used in SMART Recovery, and includes most of the hand-outs and written exercises we use in meetings.
