An up-and-coming writer uproots her family in Seoul in search of a quieter and more peaceful life in the suburbs of Daegu. She quickly becomes fascinated with the small mountainside temple outside her new home's kitchen window, as well as the peculiar monk who resides there. But the more she obsesses with her new, zen surroundings, the darker everything turns.
