I was asked ÒWhy donÕt you write a memoir?Ó A memoir? Who, me? What do I have to say and more importantly, who would care? You would have plenty to say, IÕll bet.
The fact is that my life has been different than anybody elseÕs. It should be told. It should be available for people to read. It will probably answer a lot of questions that people have pondered about. Certainly, they have asked ÒWhy did he do those things?Ó and ÒWho was that man?Ó So, it now becomes a responsibility to jot down the recollections that have shaped my life.
So, now I must warn each and every one of you who have known me. My secrets may startle some of you, may amaze some of you, and to some of you, the truth may at last be told. I only hope I donÕt hurt too many people in the process.
