Far in the future mankind mines Uranus for Hydrogen Rich worm poo. These once microscopic worms were genetically modified to grow a million times there original size to increase the output of poo they discharge, which naturally transforms the frozen, hydrogenated ice into easily burnable sludge. But a tragic asteroid impact knocks these indestructible SPACEWORMS right off the planet, scattering them throughout the galaxy. A number of the heinous undulating creatures land on earth, devouring everything in site. The megalomaniac who owns the Hydrogen Power Plant and relies on the worm poo for fuel finds himself at the mercy of what he himself helped to create. Meanwhile, on a rural island off the coast, a group of young marijuana farmers discover that their weed oil they developed to replace the fossil fuels of old may hold the key to repelling the SPACEWORMS and saving the planet.
