The 2016 class of AIA Dallas' Emerging Leaders Program staged a series of interactive events designed to engage the community in an effort to illustrate the importance of Fair Park as an asset, and to gather feedback related to how the park could better serve the needs of Dallas citizens.
Based on survey results, the team then produced a pop-up style temporary park, the ÒSpark Park." A number of different stations were created during this 6-hour event in order to highlight what a Fair Park with programmed spaces and activities could look like. This book documents the process of this temporary installation and the results found from it.
