"Sputnik-1" is a modern learning and teaching support kit consisting of a studentÕs book, activity book, tests and flashcards for teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) to kids.
We have cool, colorful illustrations (comics in every lesson!) and engaging characters. Artyom, Vera and our cute monster Nana accompany the kids throughout the book, presenting the learning material in an entertaining way. It's not just a lesson, but a whole story where the main characters reveal their personalities and talk about what they love. We are very proud of our audio! It was recorded by native Russian speakers: voice-over professionals and kids themselves. We strongly believe (and it's daily proved in our lessons) that kids want to listen to other kids. Different voices give a broad perspective of native Russian pronunciation. And the kids had so much fun recording our dialogues! You can hear it in their voices.
"Sputnik-1" is suitable for kids aged 8Ð12 years who are bilingual or have recently started learning RFL from scratch.
"Sputnik-1" can be used as a supplementary tool for speech development and to address grammatical difficulties with younger school-aged children who are studying Russian as a Second Language (RSL) in ethnic schools all over the world. "Sputnik-1" has been probed as a learning and teaching support kit at Moscow Korean School (MKS), the only Korean school, which is authorized by the government of South Korea in Europe. Teachers also used our materials in group and individual RFL online and offline lessons with kids from the USA, Europe, Asia, and other countries.
