The Sr_ Rehr_s S_hib is the evening prayer recited by Sikhs worldwide. Unlike a lot of other prayers this is a collected amalgamation on shabads by various Gur_s. The shabads are from both Sr_ Gur_ Granth S_hib J_ and Sr_ Dasam Granth. There are a number of different versions of the Sr_ Rehr_s S_hib available to read out there but the one within this text almost mirrors the one recited within the Pur_tan Sampard_s even today.
This commentary is very different. It is a commentary by the great Nirmal_ scholar, Mahant Ganesh_ Singh. Unlike other Nirmal_s his commentaries are pretty basic but the essence of the definitions is not lost within the simplicity. I wanted to provide both the original commentary in Gurmukh_ along with a translation of the commentary. This is due to the fact that this commentary has been out of print for a significant amount of time and to those seekers of the original commentary it is available again.
