This book represents a collaborative project between English Language Learning (ELL) Students and Art Students at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. The ELL students wrote stories representing aspects of their lives as immigrants and newcomers to the area. Art students interpreted the stories with drawings. This is the first book in a series that has become an annual project at the college.
