This report is intended to be dynamic and applicable to a wide audience. It was intentionally written in plain language to reach people of all ages and backgrounds. This report provides tear sheets on alternative approaches, urban strategies and innovative methodologies toward treating and managing stormwater. Various tools can be combined to create effective "treatment trains" designed to maintain and treat stormwater runoff. Each tool has the ability to be used as a puzzle piece of the development puzzle assisting a property owner to evaluate the capacity of a piece of land and the value of each tool's potential. The Martin County CRA vision is to be a leader in Florida to encourage a built environment that reflects sustainability, ultimately resulting in a positive impact on the quality of life for its residents and continued opportunities for its businesses.
