There are certain things you expect from a pre-code horror comic: some violence, the occasional vampire and/or werewolf, definitely bondage or inappropriate situations for the time, and beautiful women who either are rescued from a grisly fate, are NOT rescued from a grisly fate, or in some way bring others to a grisly fate. STRANGE MYSTERIES did not disappoint. The stories and artwork are excellent and the BWTM ratio (That's ÒBeautiful-Women-To-MonsterÓ ratio) is some of the best of the era. STRANGE MYSTERIES brings you story after story that will make you shiver just a little bit --- or, if you're the squeamish type, a lot!
